Program Description

Have a youngster that has caught the theater bug or interested to try something new? This unique camp is designed to accommodate students of all ages, experience levels, and abilities, and is guaranteed to have something for everyone. Sessions include elementary, middle, and high school levels, for both performance and technical students. Register for one or both weeks when sign-ups become available!

Who is this program for?

Grades 2-12 (Sessions are divided between Elementary, Middle, and High School levels).

How much does it cost?

$75.00 per student per week. There are two weeks of camp sessions available.

What is the time commitment?

August 1-5 & 8-12


*(Sessions are scheduled in this time frame but there are multiple sessions daily. Sessions are divided by grade level and typically last between 1-2.5 hours each).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are camp sessions taking place?

A: All camps will occur at Salem's Historic Grand Theatre and/or The Brick Room, (191/183 High St. NE, Salem, OR 97301).

Q: What does my child need to wear to camp?

A: Closed toed shoes and clothes they are comfortable moving in. Any children wearing dresses/skirts need to have leggings/shorts underneath.

Q: Is there a late pickup policy?

A: Yes. If a parent/guardian is over 15 minutes late for pickup after rehearsal, a $30.00 Late Pickup Fee will be applied.

Q: What is your Covid-19 policy?

A: In accordance with the newest state and federal guidelines, Enlightened Theatrics is no longer requiring masks or proof of vaccination status for our students, actors, or audiences. These are subject to change pending new mandates or guidelines from the State or Federal authorities.

Q: Do I have to sign up my student for BOTH weeks of camp or just one?

A: That is up to you. One week of camp is $75.00 per student, we welcome students signing up for both weeks or just one!

Q: When can I register my student/When will I know at what time my student's session is being held?

A: Registration opens May 26th. At that point you will be able to sign up your student(s) for any/all sessions they are interested in and qualify for. Sessions will be scheduled sometime between the 9:00am-4:00pm window listed above; exact times for each sessions will be available when registration opens on May 26th.
